Class Concentration 2

Grinch and Martha have hardly any interaction in the movie, so I wanted to change that with my own vision. I was greatly inspired by the ballroom scene in Beauty and the Beast for this piece. I also wanted to focus on movement and let the details drive the piece and create interest. The dress Martha wears in this piece is actually my favorite costume from any movie, so I took a great deal of time to add as many details as I could. I also played with layering different mediums within those details to get the look that I wanted.
